Our high-performing school offers a diverse range of academic and extracurricular programs aimed at preparing students for college and career paths. IRHS offers Advanced Placement, Dual Enrollment classes, REACH (gifted students), and Honors coursework, providing students with diverse opportunities for growth and achievement.

IRHS prepares students for the future, with high-quality curriculum in the fundamentals and opportunities to gain valuable skills for after they graduate with 11 Career and Technical Education (CTE) tracks and internship opportunities. We prepare students not just to graduate, but to thrive in life after school—wherever their path leads.

At IRHS, we believe in the promise of every student, and we promise to deliver the educational experiences children need to grow and flourish, from the first day of their kindergarten year to the day they walk across the stage and earn their high school diplomas. One of our core missions is to deliver on the Promise of a Graduate, instilling eight key skills and characteristics in our students as they grow from year to year. Those qualities are Scholarship, Creative Thinking, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Communication, Caring and Citizenship.

Ironwood Ridge High School offers over 20 athletic programs, that compete at a high level. Our Athletic Department fosters a culture of excellence both on and off the field. Since 2000, our programs have won multiple State Championships while providing our student athletes opportunities to reach their goals of participating in Collegiate Sports.
